I decided to mow the lawn the weather is so good. First cut this year ..... :buddy:

Shouldn't have left it so long, it nigh on bloody killed me !! ... and there's a peculiar plant in one corner that looks like a Triffid. Even the lawn mower wouldn't go near it.

I've retired to the pub. :pint:
I, too, have cut some grass - and I have the advantage of more flexible "licensing hours".

Well thanks guys .... here I am, in need of comfort, still with lawn scars all over me ... a f*cking Triffid staring at me through the patio doors, and you lot, instead of re-assuring me, make me want to run down to the Co-op and buy a packet of razor blades .... !!! :buddy:

I was in there mid-day and it was very much open for business. I saw the sign at the prescription section at the back that the desk would be closed from 1:30pm until 2pm but that's not unusual as Superdrug does this too.

Yep, Boots was open, just the pharmacist on his/her lunch half hour, like they do on QRP.

Just going on what Hubby's work colleague told him :ohno:...thought it strange myself when I was told. Makes sense to be just the pharmacy closed

My friend is also taking part, his girls are very excited as they get to go to Spain this year to cheer on their Dad :)
Best of luck to you.
Oh that's fantastic!! Do you know which events he's doing?
I feel awful we're not taking our children but we just couldn't manage it. Theyre coming to the British Games instead.

Got the dentist at 10.30. 2 teeth and an old root to be pulled.
So nervous.
 I know exactly how you must be feeling @Glam . I get myself in such a state before going to the dentist, especially if having teeth out . Even for a check-up I feel like I'm going to my death....still living so far ;)
(Most of my front teeth are on a bridge, with the rest narrowly avoiding being yanked out. The last couple of check-ups he's commented that I've been lucky this time, but one of these visits I won't be.....:o )

GOOD LUCK ! ....Hope it isn't too bad :)
