Stafford shops closing - Turning into a ghost town?

@kyoto49 did you notice what kind of sizes she stocks? The window display stufff always looks lovely but suited to very skinny people, of which I am not :keke:

I didn;t really notice the sizes to be honest, but there was significantly more clothes in there than I was expecting being a new place, so might be worth you popping in to see. Also, sure the owner would look out for your particular size if you spoke with her as she buys all the stuff herself.

Unique Soles has closed, real shame as always got kids shoes from there and found staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable.

William Hill is going into the old Greenwoods, and Millets is moving to Restored Furniture just across the road.

:?: Great that shops are opening:- but can't really work out Millet's move across the street, mmm? think it's smaller so probably cheaper? ANOTHER bookies! looks quite a distinguished building! :ohno:

Millets is quite possible moving because their current store is an abhomination of a layout. Merchandising it must be a nightmare. The new place has far more sensible dimensions!

It's a bigger site I'm sure. I got a bargain in there tonight, apparently they aren't allowed to take their stock with them...

It appears that the owners of The Hough retail park are spending cash by replacing the main signage outside the old Frankie & Benny's and Lloyds bank...

It's yet to be seen if it will shell out on resurfacing the very poor tarmac in the car park....

The sign by the White House bank looks like something that was salvaged from the wreck of the Titanic.

They do look nice and smart - Now for something exciting that does nice food and is happy to have children eating in it to take over the ol' F&B place and I'd be a happy Queensville* resident

*Is St. Leonards technically Queensville? I can never remember
