Walked to town to get my phone sorted in the EE shop where I bought it from, only to be told by an un- interested sales person (without even looking at the phone, as soon as he realised I wasn't there to spend any more money he switched off! ) that he couldn't get rid of the things that have suddenly appeared but "All you have to do is go home and connect it to your laptop and it will all disappear straight away" .......Wrong! As I thought, plugged it into the laptop and made no bloody difference at all

Went to B&Q on the walk home to buy a saw, and got helped by a very helpful customer who not only advised me what type I needed but informed me there was a special offer on some further down the store. So like him , I ended up buying 2 for tenner :)
If that bloke is reading this.....cheers mate  .Walked back home looking like Edward Scissorhands with my 2 new saws :D

For us over a certain age, Tesco is the most helpful emporium in the mobile phone department.....

Unfortunately the shop is there to sell, not to help. I went in for help once and they said as I purchased online (direct through EE though) it was my own problem and I had to sort it out myself, really couldn't give a monkeys if they aren't getting commission. Maybe thats because they are paid crap and rely on commission to make it worthwhile, I dunno, but I've never been back in that shop again since.

Cheers! Actually helped me to decide to look in Tesco for my next phone or sim deal. Now out of my latest contract with EE at the moment, so only on a rolling one month contract . Looks like some good deals to be had by paying Tesco a visit (especially as you say they have helpful staff, always made to feel a bit of a thicko each time I go into EE )

I used to find the old T-mobile staff helpful, but all that changed when they merged with the Orange shop. I've always bought my phones from the Stafford shop, but this last "fantastic" phone they pushed to sell me has since become a "that phone isn't very good , you need a better one"

Arrrgh! In the rush to dominate all of the fresh cat litter trays (3) so the other cat carries on peeing on the floor (that's why we have 3 trays). My one cat has tripped me on the stairs whilst carrying the bin bag with the contents of 2 trays, which tore and half emptied all over the stairs and shoe tree. :soz::soz::barf:

Wondering why everything I do, buy , or work I have done in the house never goes to right first time!

Brand new baxi boiler came out of the box faulty last week , the first ever time in all the fitters years of working for them that he has ever had a dud one !

Now it's back to the chemists I go! Got a prescription for a course of 8 antibiotics at the docs last night to start this morning. Pharmacy supposed to have dispensed 8 according to the box....just opened them up ...only 5 odd cut off ones in there.
