Ah right, you mean in between Gailey and the M6?I've not been recently but I went last year.
Its averagely ok, they don't have a huge amount of choice.
My favourite of the smaller garden centres is Pipers on the A5 not far from Dobbies.
Never even knew that one existed.I like Johnson Hall Nurseries in Eccleshall (Not to be confused with Fletchers) a good selection of plants at really good prices & really helpful staff. The only downside is there is no tea-room & the loo is a bit grotty (but a little bird has a nest in there & regularly flies through the loo window!)

Its in a victorian walled garden - I think that Mr Cauldwell may live on the other side of the wall, but I could be wrong.Never even knew that one existed.
No, the garden centre is on the road to Woodseaves by the looks of it. Caudwell's pile is up on the road towards Loggerheads. Its in a victorian walled garden - I think that Mr Cauldwell may live on the other side of the wall, but I could be wrong.
I didnt know the same people had one at Bury Bank!
Yes I've been to that one, it's really nice and the owners very friendly.Theres also Greenheart plants at Hopton. Very small, famiky owned, no tea-room. (If its still there, be prepared for a long stay, the owner kept us chatting for hours last time we went.)
That's the old monastery - some of it is not as old as it looks. No, the garden centre is on the road to Woodseaves by the looks of it. Caudwell's pile is up on the road towards Loggerheads.

It is rather nice, it has to be said.
Find it hard to believe Caudwell would have anything fake...That's the old monastery - some of it is not as old as it looks.
It was extended in the 1920s, in a similar style to the original.Find it hard to believe Caudwell would have anything fake...
