Bit disappointed, along with Gareth's missing words there seems to be a few stalls missing as well.

Food looked a bit bland and expensive so didn't bother trying anything. Not many people there either.

I may walk back that way on the way home later and see if it is any better.

poped down with my son, spicy sausage pizza, followed by a thai curry then a banana and chocolate crepe washed down with a couple of drinks listening to some live music, not to many people but enough to make it pleasant and not bad for a first event in Stafford. A very pleasant evening. wil certainly look out for the next one.

It was good, I had a good hot roast, the boy ate an impressive hot dog - needed more seats and it was getting a bit chilli by the time we left at 9ish - I'm told it's booked in for the next two months (2nd Thursday)

I enjoyed my food, live music was good. Agree on the seating, it made the square look really empty, I reckon a few more tables would help.

Stafford has larger open space than Lichfield (not sure where it's usually placed in Lich) so I think they need to either arrange the trailers differently or book more to make it look more attractive.

No one I knew, knew anything about this happening, and if they did they'd have went, so a pretty missed opportunity tbh.

I was in the Bird before I went and the barstaff were wondering why the pub was empty. One even checked on Facebook but couldn't find it.

Seems the only place aware of it was this Forum.

Sounds like it livened up a bit later on so I shall give it another chance when it next turns up assuming we actually get to know about it.

I saw plenty of things from the Lichfield food festival facebook page - which I followed after the Stafford food festival (that was also run by them) They did say now they've had the go ahead to host more then're going to do more 'traditional marketing' - I'm assuming with banners etc - but it's a perennial problem - how do you advertise something like this?

I vaguely recall seeing some posts about Lichfield Food festival but assumed it was in...Lichfield.

My friend commented on the advertising too - not much of it! I know I only saw it because of following the Lichfield food festival
