Fair point - i have autocorrect permanently switched on in my head, which makes things difficult for on-line interactions.

I think i've managed to dial down on that front quite well on the whole, but by [insert deity of choice here] i'm biting my virtual tongue on the regular.

@littleme baits me as a matter of principle, which is both understandable and continually insufferable. I see it as my problem, really.

TBF there are worse things under heaven and earth.

Apologies to @cj1 , it won't happen again. (until it happens again because i can't help myself and have to excuse myself again)
I aim to please... :heyhey:

As is Fletcher's at Eccleshall and Priory at the top of Corporation Street.
Any idea if the walled garden in Eccleshall (P. M. Edwards, I think) is open? (turn left when you get to the roundabout, then near the brow of the hill)....

Pipers in Gailey ....
We went to Pipers today around 1:00pm. Not much of a queue to get in, but it took a bit longer to come out .... and the car park was a bit cramped. Mrs Mikinton said it seemed quite well organised with customers behaving themselves (I'd stayed in the car park and watched the cars on the A5).

There is nothing stopping you driving to Torquay (for example) just as long as you stay longer than you take to drive there and return the same day, as you are not allowed to stay overnight.
In theory we can go to the seaside tomorrow. I'm off this week and very tempted, but I know it would be packed and it would make me anxious.
My first thought when they said you could travel somewhere is...would the public toilets be open everywhere.

Well I'm off work tomorrow and have managed to get a round of golf pencilled in.... Unfortunately as I'm not a member anywhere I'm having to play at Hawkstone park... Mustn't grumble, there's worse places go to !!

I tried golf once. I can understand why people like it but I absolutely hated it.
