You there; behave!
Can you tell me how to delete my account please
Can you delete all my for sale posts please.
Thankyou for letting me know. I am new to this!
That's fine! If you wish to contact me, it's best to send me a private message by clicking on my name, rather than posting here on my public profile :)
Someone wants to collect paving slabs - how can I tell them the address?
I sent you a private message explaining what to do - check your notifications at the top of the page :) Just click on the name/picture of the person you want to contact, then click the "Start a conversation" link to send them a private conversation. Thanks.
i have started a new thread about phobias today and put it in stafford chat. could you please move it to general chat. thanks
Done. Sorry for the delay; I don't often get posts on my profile, so rarely check it!
Thank you! S

Hi The Governator,
I have only just joined this forum so don't really know anyone on here yet so can't really start a conversation off with anyone but i have a general question that i am unable to post on a forum just yet....Does anyone know if there is a bonfire going on in Stafford tonight (5/11/14) even if it is a small event?
Hi @ScottyWils20, welcome to Stafford Forum.
You don't need to know anyone to start a discussion thread! Just click on the forum that is most relevant to your topic & click the blue "Post New Thread" button at the top-right. Check out the Events section, for example, to see what bonfire nights are on: http://www.staffordforum.com/xf/index.php?forums/events.16/
Another example I've just seen, look at thread; Electrician recommendations please.
Odd to say the least!
I agree that some of John Marwood's posts are frustrating nonsense (and I do delete some), but this example is obviously just a pun on the username of that poster, Dickshock, so not all that cryptic!
I'm sure you appreciate that it may not be cryptic for some but maybe cryptic to others.
I'm not here to decipher someone's posts!
My partner is put off using the forum as she's mentioned the nonsense posts in perfectly reasonable threads, just sayin'.
...though, thanks for the reply.
How do you PM nowadays?
Anyway, what I wanted to say, i'll say it here, I'm fed up with the nonsense posts, and I think they can be easily told apart, see thread; Canalside Café, Haywood for an example, I'm all for banter but when it smacks in the face of an innocent thread it stinks of trolling, you have any thoughts on this matter?
PMs are now called Conversations, and you start a conversation in the same way you always have - just click a member's avatar/name, and click Start a Conversation. :) John Marwood's post take some deciphering, but they usually are on-topic. On this occasion, he is referring to the nearby Essex Bridge area, which is clearly an odd name for somewhere in Great Haywood!
Can you help change my email address please in order to link it to my FB account?
is this helpful to you? http://www.heartinternet.co.uk/blog/2012/04/what-to-do-about-the-new-eu-cookie-law/
This is the 1st I've heard of it! Just done some research; it seems most sites, including the vast majority of Government ones, *aren't* compliant themselves, & this new 'law' is largely moot. I will, however, keep my eye on it, & make sure The Forum is fully compliant where applicable; thanks for bringing it to my attention. Feel free to start a Personal Conversation with me if you have any other enquiries. :)
I have posted on the 'Events' thread, so if you could merge them, I would be much obliged. It is a music/dance event aswell, but I will leave it to you where you stick it! Much obliged.
I'll merge the threads now. The Events forum is the same as any other, so people can still reply to the thread. :)
Oh, and just in case you weren't aware, posts like this on people's profiles are public & can be viewed by everyone. If you wish to send anyone a private message, just click on their avatar then click on "Start a Conversation".
