I see the great hoards of music lovers are arriving. The station is exceptionally the busy. The council has erected stalls for some of the market stall holders to sell their wares. I think they are providing some entertainment.

I also saw some Telford councillor say that festival goers should take the delays going to the festival on the M54 as part of the experience. (Yeah)

If you are around Victoria park today there's an ace free music festival for the queue for the buses...

Does anyone know why folk with big bags, tents etc were being made to go through the park,
back up the Newport Road and then back down towards the station they had left 15 minutes
earlier to catch a bus. The message it appeared to give was: "Welcome to Stafford, we know
how to take the piss". On a positive note, the people on the bandstand providing the music
were doing a great job, many thanks go to them.

The council plotting with Tescos? Take them near the entrance to the store so they think about going in for a meal or to stock up on "essentials"

There were three out of 93,000

Never been sure what a vestal is

Vestal virgins were the priestesses of the cult of Vesta the Roman goddess of the hearth. Virginity was a requirement of the selection procedure.

(Hence Swan Vestas matches, etc..)

Anyone hear it last night? I went out to listen but I think we're just too far away here.

Yep can make out the bass quite strong over here on wildwood.....thought we might get away with it today as the wind is blowing in a different direction. Oh well time to find out the earplugs!

well I am at wildwood, thought we would be too far away, wind from SW, so not the best direction if you want to hear anything

Two guys with strong Liverpudlian accents dressed all in black & driving a van stopped me in Eccleshall at 9.00 last night asking for directions for V festival. Odd.
