OH DEAR!
Table booked for 7:30, arrived about 7:25. Blank looks from two young staff members by the door so went and found someone else, who in turn went and found someone else to deal with us.
Downstairs area about half full, we were taken to an upstairs table, nice circular table which I prefer to square ones when in a group, upstairs also about half full.
Waited about 10 mins for someone to take our order. Some 15 minutes later drinks arrived, shortly after followed by poppadoms. Spoke to a group of three that were leaving as they'd waited 90 mins for food and were giving up.
8:20 (ish) asked after food to be told "we're pushing yours through, it'll be here in a minute" ordered more drinks. Couple that arrived shortly after us left having given up.
9:00 no food, second drinks order not arrived, went to The Swan for a few pints followed by a visit to the chip shop.
Trumpet international 'two strikes rule' will apply.
It's called Indiano and it's on Radford Street just up from The Blue Rooms.

Was anyone getting fed? If it was half full and no food is appearing then they need to close 3/4 of the restaurant I suspect!

We the management of Indiano’s Restaurant would like to apologise to all guest that visited our Stone Branch on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th September for the substandard service that you received. The restaurant has been open for 5 weeks and that was the first week that we had our menu distributed and we where overwhelm by the response that we had. We had a 2 for 1 offer on main meals and 25% on takeaways and we where understaffed for the response we received.
Regards to comments on Tripadvisor, these are unbiased reviews left by guest that visited our restaurant that weekend and last excellent review left, was by a customer that visited our restaurant on the 9th September and has no association with the Indiano’s Management team.
Again, I would like to apologise to all guest for the substandard service you received and hopefully you would try us again in the future.

Hi @Indiano's and welcome to Stafford Forum.
I have to say, I'm quite impressed that you have responded so quickly to the negative comments here, and in such a humble way. Some other business owners see criticism on here, and immediately go on the attack, defending their actions and suggesting it is the customer who is at fault, or that perhaps their business is "too good" for them so they don't "get" it, or something like that.
It's great to see that you have recognised the problems, and explained that they are due to opening teething problems. It does sound like there are quite a few things to get right, so I wish you all the best. Hopefully you'll see more Stafford Forum members there in future, and they will have better things to say!

Well replied Indiano's, as I said in my post my personal two strikes rule will come into play and I'll definitely at some point in the future revisit.
Have to say not being from Stone I wasn't aware of any leafletage or offers at the time, perhaps, as you say, a few extra staff after a marketing push wouldn't have come amiss.

Yeah I have to say I thought it was a tad naive to offer 2-4-1 on a Friday and Saturday night and then be surprised how busy it was. If you are too busy turn people away and stop taking takeaway orders.
It is however worthwhile offering this incentive Sun-Thur to encourage people to try you.
I hope to pop down and try out your menu soon. I've only recently moved to Stone and I have tried one of the Indian restaurants so far. I wasn't impressed and neither were the 3 other people that I was with. Once I have tried your food I'll reply on this thread.
I should say I do know someone who visited your restaurant on that weekend when there was a crazy wait on the food. They said they would go back as the food was nice.
