I think someone on here said Home Sense, which is TK Maxx's homeware shop.

Another shop full of crap then. Just what Stafford is short of

We'd been looking for a while for a little table for the top landing.

Bought this today (and the lamp) from TKMax.
We think it's gorgeous, not crap at all and we are thrilled with our bargain purchase.

I love that! It's my kind of taste. Really hope that HomeSense IS going to QRP, nice to have something to rival Next.

No, TK Maxx sells quality home furnishings. Or is your house empty?

TK Max sells: "past season, or timeless classics, which we also offer at amazing savings to you.
We take advantage of a wide variety of opportunities, which can include department store cancellations, a brand owner making up too much product, or a great deal when a vendor simply wants to clear merchandise"

That is taken from their own website. Translated into plain English, it says that they sell over-stock that no-one else wants. So they should suit Stafford well, the people of Stafford are always happy to settle for second best and pick up the stuff which is not good though for people in other towns.
As I have mentioned in earlier posts, small minded people with no vision who are happy to settle for second best. Many of them don't even realise it's second best, because they are so blinkered they wouldn't know quality if they ever saw it.

I really do feel so sorry for your daughter if you are such a grumpy bastard in normal life.
You have been asked before, where do you go for your shopping?
It obviously anywhere in this dump of a town, majority of us call home.

TK Max have over 350 stores.

So it's not just Stafford people that like to buy top quality stuff at bargain prices.

Thank you, you have totally proved my point. You are happy to be in one of the bottom 350 towns who will settle for second best, and have no aspiration to do any better. What is even more saddening is that you cannot see it for yourself. It really is no wonder why Stafford is the way it is.

What does it matter? If I like something, I buy it, I couldn't give a rats ass if it's last season's or over stock no-one else wants. Matters not one jot to me and to many others I would argue as well. Something being from a certain season is a very wasteful way of looking at goods, and a materialistic way as well. If TK Maxx is allowing customers to buy products that are considered 'last season' then thank god for them. What else would happen with this good quality stuff? Landfill?

Where do you buy the incredibly top quality items that you furnish your house wth?

Enjoying a drop of red.
I am a dreary little man, I drive a dreary little car and live in a dreary little house with dreary neighbours. I shop in dreary, second-rate shops. But I am ignorant of the fact that Stafford is a dreary, third rate town, so I'll just carry on my dreary way, swathed in ignorance.

Just imagine though, what a giant bellend @HopesDad dad must be, being the only one who knows just how god-awful Stafford is and still choosing to live here, when just about everywhere else is better.

He deserves our pity.

I love Home Sense and TK Maxx. I buy a lot of my clothing from there and the household department is amazing. Most of it is actually high end with many designer brands and top quality.
A brilliant addition to the town.
Still waiting for @HopesDad to tell us where he shops. Doubt we'll get a sane answer but I'm genuinely interested to find out

Stafford can't really be that bad. After all it's good enough for Hopesdad (eternal optimist) to raise a family here. Or maybe Hopesmum won't let him move away.

I didn't realise that Solihull, Birmingham and Manchester are three of the worst 'towns' in the country. They all have TKMaxx/Homesense stores.

Also they have branches in Kew, Oxford and Stratford Upon Avon and two in the Lake District.....other places that I wouldn't describe as "among the worst 350 places in Britain"
