Walked on to the town LLoyds , only 2 people serving when I I got there and a massive queue as the 2 people being served were doing really long transactions.
Accosted by several chuggers en route through the town, and certainly chose the wrong time of day to go into town with all the school kids in rather high spirits hanging around. (And a good job the stones some were lobbing around on Lichfield Rd didn't hit me.....the evil mood I was in by then   :grr: )

Lovely husband has spoiled me today.

For my birthday, amongst other things he bought me a black and decker electric hand saw. Now I know that you probably won't believe me but this pleased me greatly...I can't wait to get stuck into the pile of wood at the weekend.

He also got me tickets to see The Dreamgirls in London...row E no less. I've been wanting to see this for ages.

Lovely thoughtful man.

I had the best Friday night ever!

Had a mini-family hen do at my aunties - just me, my mum, cousin and auntie.

She had decorated her house with gorgeous pink, purple and white balloons!

First things first I put on my fuzzy green frog pyjamas!

Then we ate cheesy mashed potatoes with (quorn) bacon and peas - followed by an amazing auntie made chocolate gateau!

We then played board games, had a treasure hunt and watched a terrible movie!

We did the puzzles in the paper, drank some wine and ate cheese and crackers for a midnight snack.

Life simply doesn't get any better than that!

Went round to friends house last night for dinner.
Had a lovely lovely evening.
She sent me this photo which goes a long way to explaining why I felt exceedingly fragile this morning.
Just off now to The Red Lion, oddly enough I don't feel like drinking much.

Why does your friend collect empty bottles, is it a new type of hobby? If so I've got a few she can add to her collection.

Currently in a pub in Maidstone prior to Superbikes at Brands tomorrow and just been served two short pints.

Grumpy landlady, who was nice as pie earlier, says "how much do you want me to pour down the drip tray". She didn't like my response of "as much as you need to til my pints are full". Made a few friends with locals who merrily chortled at my northern merth.

Sad thing is the previous barman managed to pull full pints for 3 different beers we'd had before with no problems.

My TV broke about 2 weeks ago , there was no picture just black. No life in it what so ever .So today I finally got round to removing it from the wall to chuck in bin.
In a last attempt to double check that it was in fact broke I did a quick search on google and found some site saying to unplug the tv and hold the power button for 30 seconds then plug back in and switch it on. I generally thought this was bollox , it was on some US site and was about some other tv, but tried it anyway .....IT WORKED!who knew
