They do. I've never voted for this shower of shite in my life. Plenty on here moan about all the things you have identified and then vote Tory. It's like they're too thick to join the dots :(

Both places attract glamorous socialites darling.
Monaco doesn't even have a Bath Social Group.

I don't understand how Stafford and Leamington can be compared on just about any level.

I might as well say that I compare Bednall with Monaco.
I agree, having just read their local paper, Leamington sounds like a crime ridden nightmare. I think the people of Leamington can only dream of living somewhere as nice as Stafford.

Enjoying a drop of red.

Quite but only one of them is a cramped, totally fake environment inhabited by some of the most arrogant and gastly people I've ever had the misfortune to meet.

Maybe you would if you lived brum lol!

But what are you reasons for thinking it's a bad idea?

Write down a list of things that are important to you in your new town of choice. Is it safety, is it good public transport, is it a wide variety of cultural things (museums etc) is it good shopping, do you prefer chain or independent shops, is quality of schools important, cycling provision, all these types of things. Work out which ones matter to you.

Then judge each town you are considering against these criteria. Its not mine or anyone elses opinion that matters, its yours.

If you're looking for progressive governance, in any sphere, good NHS hospital, above average schools, comprehensive local public transport, independent or quality shops, a life not based around cars, then run as fast away from your thoughts of Stafford as your new home.

If you want fast fashion chain stores, Indian restaurants, chavvy fast food drive thoughs and relative safety, albeit less so than before, then maybe Stafford is for you

Why knows! Only you do. My advice would be to look at other towns and try and rank by life affecting qualities important to you and your preferred lifestyle. If you're just going to use it as a base to commute then save the petrol and live closer to work would be my recommendation!

Hope this helps :)
