Loads in this morning, staff doing a fantastic job. Had to get out for the essentials. Tear and share bread and biscuits.

Only 2 items of each thing allowed in Co-op.
Got some cheese from Co-op , but the cheese shelves were quite bare. Only the bakery white bread the time I went in , though there was a bread delivery van and a Co-op lorry arriving as I was driving off. Got a right hateful stare from on an old woman looking at the couple of items of fruit and salad stuff that I'd got in my trolley. Got 2 cucumbers because they were so bloody small (wouldn't have bought them normally at that price for such tiny things!). No oranges left , so making do with orange juice. (And a box of strongbows for my apple juice :D )Noticed no cleaning stuff, loo rolls etc . No bacon and sausages either at that time.
Will have to have a walk to the butchers to hopefully get eggs and bacon and ham. Thought I was well stocked up, but since hubby has been at home he's made a big dent in the fridge stocks already.

Spouting nonsense since the day I learned to talk
Tesco is busy.

No toilet roll, no pasta, only a few pack of expensive rice. Tea stocks very low, coffee not so bad.

I spoke to a couple of staff members who when asked about the toilet roll situation, told me that they have stocks every day but people are queuing from 4.45am to rush in and buy it. Shop currently opens at 6am.

Madness.

Brings a whole new meaning to the saying "no shit Sherlock" doesn't it?

Just had to go into Asda for my prescription and did a quick tour round for fresh produce.

Lots of veg and a reasonable amount of fruit. Plenty of milk and bread.

Hardly any meat, no loo rolls, anti bacterial stuff and they've totally run out of panic so hopefully people will now stop shopping for the latter.

I was keeping as far away from people as possible but some folk are just ignoring it including the Asda lady at the self service tills. She wanted to help everybody pack and kept pacing up and down right next to customers and asking them if she could help.

The cheap chocolate shelves were completely decimated this evening. Priorities.

Noticed during my shop yesterday that everyone is ignoring the distance rules to get their panic buying done. So they can stay inside. Away from the people they were just squeezing against. To protect themselves.

It's surprising how quickly people practice social distancing if you have a few indiscreet coughs in the checkout queue. Works much better than an eggy fart.

Failing to wash, chewing garlic and talking to yourself is also quite effective.
