Muse Tapas Restaurant

Have eaten here quite a few times over the last couple of years. The food is decent, if not spectacular and they make good cocktails. Last night there were only four people in the restaurant, two of whom were us. We were there from 8 o'clock for over an hour. What are other people's experience of this place?

Only been once, was alright but I felt overpriced. As an example I had some chilli garlic king prawns, there were 3 of them for 3 quid. Quite how that made it food to share I don't know. This was over 2 years ago though.

A few posts under my belt
Oddly enough I was planning to check this place out at some point in the next couple of weeks! Will report back! ojk6

I've been a few times for evenings and lunch times - one of my favourite places to eat in Stafford but it does keep erratic opening hours - one of my friends refuses to believe it opens at all because it's always closed when we try and go.

It would be a shame to see a place like this go. Maybe a visit from Gordon Ramsey would help.

Muse is our favourite place to eat in town, we are regulars. Not seen it busy in ages though, we often have the place to ourselves though which is a shame. Never had a problem with it being closed - guess we must have been lucky so far.

I have been a few times and can only report great things. Great food, atmosphere, drinks, staff and not too pricey IMO if there are a few of you. One of my favourite memories has to be one of our friends birthdays, I think tek was there also, and MyCult had a little too much falling down water and stumbled on one of the low walls outside, fell on to it and then gripped it for dear life in case he fell the twelve inches to the floor. Good times!

Sounds like a great place but to be honest i have no idea where this place is. Pity as we like to eat out a lot but sometimes want a change from pub grub/indian/chinese (no matter how good the food). Maybe they could do with a little bit of advertising. But i will certainly be looking this place up.

Walk between McDonalds and the Ancient High House from the high street and walk up past the sweet shop and through the iron gates to the church yard. As you walk up you'll come across the christian book library/shop on your left and then immediately after than is a crescent of shops. as you're looking at the cresent from the path the tapas place is in the far right corner. I think there is a Formula 1 memrobilia shop there too.

How random!? I think there is a candle shop there too.
Indeed, I had my eye on a detonated piston from a ferrari V10 for a while but never got round to buying it. It was hellishly expensive though.
