Muse Tapas Restaurant

There was a very nice classical CD shop there in the early days, and a sort of hippy/weirdo shop, as well.

is it still open? - I'm having a hell of a time - I've got their phone number now on speed dial and I always try and check in on it - still no results :(

The people who used to run it are friends of ours. They sold it before Christmas so unless someone else has now taken it over, I'd assume it's closed

Oh no!

That is really sad, I totally loved that place - if they sold it, I really hope they sold it to be a restaturant again!

I noticed that there were new signs advertising two and three course menus. Has anyone eaten there since the temporary closure?

The chef (not sure if he still is as haven't seen him in a couple of weeks) drinks in The Railway. It's under different management and is no longer a tapas restaurant. I've not been there, so all I can judge it on are the cakes which Mr Chef brought into the pub...which were awesome!

That sounds like a sterling recommendation - Next time Goldilox isn't off being a Rockstar we shall go

Looks like I will need to ask Mr Admin to remove the Tapas from this thread. Shame.

Why? :?:

World War II has finished, but there's no need to remove all record of it from the history books! Indeed, for perhaps a less dramatic analogy, the Castle Tavern Steak House has dramatically changed since their thread came along. Why on earth would we want to erase its memory from history?

Do you work for the Ministry of Truth, Kingy? ;)
