The Ford Squad return in 2010 with some local bands and acoustic artists. Of whom several are new to our biological listening devices.
HoneyMoon Fresh return to play a longer set at the end of the night as they continue their evolution from ramshackle folk pop played on kids toys to a more edgey incarnation. Still harbouring melodies and tunes but with a more taut and potent sound.
We also have .44 Pistol, who are always busy and often found entertaining in the pubs of Stafford. The Pistol are immediately accessible and play an up front blues sound that comes across well in the drinking environment.
New to the Bird we welcome Dog, a noise and riff duo that feature dirging riffs, vocal screams and relentless drums. Vaguely reminiscent of Hot Bone who played on the 18th December at the Bird, Dog are loud and proud.
Playing acoustically in the bar area we have Joe Tilston, playing folk inspired songs and words; Diamonds & Dynamite, who says "It's all about having fun, making friends and having a good time cuz theres nothing better than making your own soundtrack! To get my sound I use Nintendo Gameboys, Guitars, Keyboards, Voices and a variety of Childrens Toys. If you want to make music like this, but don't know where to start, just ask me and i'll give you a hand!" And, finally we have Samiran Culbert also strumming in the bar.
