20 Years in the Swamp

This month marks 20 years since I moved to Stafford. The Lady of the Swamp dug her tallons firmly in me and I've not been able to leave her loving embrace since. So, if you wern't born here, how long have you lived in the Swamp and what brought you here? I came to go to the old North Staffs Polytechnic ot HND IT.

And for those as know me I'm having a little soiree round at my place on Saturday night to celebrate two decades in Stafford. PM for further details if required.

For anyone not aquainted with The Good Doctor's partys, they are always most splendid occaisions, complete with disco lights and a smoke machine! (and lots of people getting quite tiddly...)

It was 18 years ago this month that I invaded the swamp to study a BSc at the lovely Blackheath Lane site.

we all went to Staffs Poly and er...

well learned many things mainly to do with alchohol and general over indulgence really which explains why a lot of us failed the first yr!

Wonder what everyone elses reasons were? {for being here NOT for failing the first yr I just read that back and had to edit again !!1 }could be an interesting thread this

Hey, i passed the first year!

I just failed the 2nd year 3 times.
