Never mind the industrial areas of Britain, it was "Working hard for the Falkland Islands" 8000 miles away.View attachment 15081Has begun
Chaps with boats from Yemen...Who we fighting? Does it matter?
Did we stop the boats yet?
What does Ozzy know? Can he even vote in the UK?Osborne says November
So 2nd May then
Just as well, we haven't got enough ships to form a task force.I think its unlikely to work this time
Anyone can appear good on paper, if they've got the right person writing for them.I've read the literature a lot and they do seem very good.
I get that Lucy and I stress that I don't know the machinations of the local members and the selection process, but if you were a local member and had aspirations would it not be demoralising not to be selected to represent your home town.Indeed, the candidates had to give speeches at the vote though, and the local members chose.
They're obviously not good enough to stand in their own town, do we have any proof they aren't also a shower of shit? I'll still vote for them as they aren't Tory but I can't remember the last time I actually gave a shit about the person at a local level. For God sakes !
Look at the calibre of the local councillors
Absolutely shower of shit!
Get over yourselves
I'd also rather have someone local who has experienced first hand the issues in our town, but maybe some fresh blood is a good thing if the other option is to have a local Councillor? This Leigh looks normal, has probably got more actual real life experience than the current waste of space. So on that basis I'm in! Looks like she might actually engage with constituents as well!Labour have finally selected their candidate to represent the town. Leigh Ingham. Labour really do frustrated me, there must be people who are local, that know and understand the residents and voters but no, Leigh Ingham another candidate seemingly parachuted in. Leigh is currently a local councillor in South Gloucestershire.
