No apparent activity today, either - just the insane lights that seem to give the same priority to the dozens of cars stuck on Astonfields Road as to the non-existent traffic from the ex-Lotus site. It's easy for people to get annoyed with what can often seem an unnecessary amount of disruption. The four-way lights at Lotus have been running without any apparent action on site for some days. I don't stand there all day watching what isn't happening, but I haven't seen any action there since Monday, I think. Nobody's even put back the barriers that blew over last night.
When Sandon Road was rebuilt (to a very high standard), what disruption there was was kept to an absolute minimum - and it's sad to see it all being ripped up now, possibly to do stuff that could have been done then.
The road works on Radford bank are a bloomin nightmare! I know its work that needs to be done, but I wished they would just get on with it! and I know people who live on Wildwood are defo put off going into Stafford for shopping and will opt for Cannock.
Well, somebody turned up in the late afternoon and took the obstruction away - perhaps it is 'needed' elsewhere? No apparent activity today, either - just the insane lights that seem to give the same priority to the dozens of cars stuck on Astonfields Road as to the non-existent traffic from the ex-Lotus site.
Eccleshall Road was relatively free-flowing this afternoon.Well, somebody turned up in the late afternoon and took the obstruction away - perhaps it is 'needed' elsewhere?

Something must be done about it!
