Accident Lichfield Road 22/11/12

There has been an accident on the junction whereLichfield road meets Riverway, looks fairly serious lots of police, firemen and paramedics on the scene. Can't really see what exactly happened, just hope those involved are ok.

Probably best to avoid the area if you can for the next few hours.

I Drove past 6.15pm on way to hospital & was going to go down Riverway but blocked off.Looked like 2 fire engines,an ambulance & police in attendance but I daren't look much .Could have been more judging by the blue lights.Certainly looked really nasty!

Son said there was a silver car there which looked like it was smashed up against the wall. Hope no-one was too seriously injured.Just hope no-one was standing on the pavement waiting to cross as well.

Atrocious driving conditions tonight and appalling how some people were driving. Roundabout by Asda/Lammascote road was blocked up because some people pulled over the lights when there was no-where to go and just would not leave a gap for others to get to Lammascote Road. Flooded roads everywhere, idiots speeding out of junctions regardless if something was coming or not .Pedestrians stepping out into the middle of the road to wait for a gap to cross by the Co-op on Weston Road.

Been a nightmare all day driving backwards & forwards to the hospital. Seemed thousands more cars than usual on the roads all throughout the day today!
