After-taste in Tap Water

Apparently it happens in the summer when it's hot and sunny. Algae bloom on the top of lakes and reservoirs. Even after STW clean the water, there can be a residual after-taste.

For the first time, I've tasted the algal bloom residue in the Stafford tap water. It also has an earthy/sedimentary smell. Anyone else noticed this in the water today? More noticeable if you leave your glass of water for more than 10 minutes before drinking it.

The other half will only drink 'Stafford Water' anytime we go away he fills most of the boot with vats of Staffords own tap water!

Has resolved it self now so no idea what it was so not alone mate.... Do we get a green furry tongue then???
