After-taste in Tap Water

Apparently it happens in the summer when it's hot and sunny. Algae bloom on the top of lakes and reservoirs. Even after STW clean the water, there can be a residual after-taste.

For the first time, I've tasted the algal bloom residue in the Stafford tap water. It also has an earthy/sedimentary smell. Anyone else noticed this in the water today? More noticeable if you leave your glass of water for more than 10 minutes before drinking it.
