In response to poor Bobs 'Why does it always rain on me?' I thought we could try and cheer her up and talk about GOOD things in life, so what makes you happy?

Or what good news do you have to share?

Or what good luck have you had recently?

I took my poorly hoover back to Tesco at the weekend and they replaced it straight away with no arguing even though we have had it for 10 months and it was quite battered and bruised! They even gave us a cash refund as the hoover now costs less than when we originaly bought it! I was expecting a real battle to be honest. Also, with db's help I have the forum back to normal ;) Woohoo!

Just been to get a new pair of bifocals, cost nothing cos I'm a pensioner,
cheap ones but they will do till I can save for a decent varifocus pair.

P.S. Just noticed, I past 1000 posts, that put a smile on my face.

Got home last night, suit off, slops on. Dinner in the oven. Feet up in front of the fire with the lights out. Cold, grey and miserable outside. Chillin' CD playing, bottle of beer in hand. Best half hour of the week!

I have a complete new PC, new graphics card sat on my desk, XCOM came out this morning and my other half is busy for the first few hours when I get home. All I need to do is buy a few nice bottles of cider on my lunch break, stick them in the works fridge and I'm sorted :D

I'm sending hubby to the pub tonight, then I'm having a nice hot bubble bath putting my PJ's on digging out a good film and starting to wrap the Christmas pressies!

To be fair its just aswel - if you had gone into eary labour I would have insisted you called your baby Stafford Forum......
Excellent idea. Although being called 'Stafford Forum' might be thought to be a bit silly - but, how about simply recording the time of birth and then naming the sprog after the member that has posted nearest to that time? Seems a bit more reasonable to me..

Fair enough, that's settled, then. I wonder who it will be?

Although I don't wish That Crazy Rat Lady upon anyone - there can only be one right?

And, I suppose that there could be gender issues with some names, like yours, so we'll have to have a bit of flexibility to allow for that.
