Saw him in tesco 2 weeks or so back talking to a man. Seemed quite lovely. Swears free.

Passed me cycling down the pavement the other day - I was tempted to turn into the angry pedestrian to prove a point (i.e. that he shouldn't be riding on the pavement, not that it normally bothers me that much), but he was actually being fairly polite so I left it

Very angry cyclist riding down the middle of the Wolverhampton road this morning about 07:20. Blatantly holding up traffic on purpose. No idea as to why but when he told me to Foff I could see there was a crazed look in his eye. What on earth he's playing at I'll never know.

I doubt he really knows. I just wish that the community psych team could help him more because he's obviously very much in anguish when he behaves in that way. It's such a shame because when he's OK, he's a lovely chap.

I believe someone said he had a serious cycle accident when he was at university years ago. Maybe him being on a bicycle is some sort of trigger that makes him dangerous and angry. If that's the case maybe a psychiatrist could help and see if that is the underlying cause.

I have, absolutely off on one in the town centre one Saturday last year. Have also seen him behaving perfectly normally when on his bike.

Is there only one cyclist in Stafford then?

Or is this wishful thinking on your part?

Sad news, hope he makes a full recovery.
I had a near collision this afternoon with a cyclist, riding so fast down the lanes he came round the bend onto my side of the road closely followed by his riding partner. I stopped in time but he couldn't and narrowly missed me as he battled to regain control.

I was driving behind 'Angry Cyclist' yesterday (on Stone Rd, at the same time as the horrible accident), he was weaving in-between traffic & also using the pavement just before the common bridge. To his cedit he 'gave way' to a schoolgirl in a flourescent pink helmet (dangerous cyclist whose parents have been warned via Facebook I believe...) on the path & let her pass safely....he's not always all bad.......

    A-Ha!

I'm glad you're here, because the last time you graced us with your presence i was deliberately provocative in the hope of something of a 'back & forth'.

You appear to have no stomach for any kind of a fight, which if truth be told surprises me not one jot.

    Prepare yourself for verbal attacks...

    Scrubber!

That's if i am correct in having identified who you be.

Otherwise expect somebody who isn't he, wondering quite why someone keeps yelling 'Scrubbers!' at him for no discernible reason.

I was greeted by the angry cyclist this morning. I was travelling on A449 towards Wolverhampton - he was on the opposite side travelling into Stafford - for some reason he was effing and geffing at me (no idea why) obviously didn't like my car. I'm sure if he did that do someone with attitude he could get into some scrapes :(

He's quite particular about who he abuses. Seen it a few times, yell at a random young woman but scarily quiet going past blokes much bigger than he is. I suspect he's had a few slaps previously.

    He really is a menace.

He just rode straight through the lights by Tesco Express on the Stone Road on red, if he'd come down a couple of seconds earlier he would have run me over!!!

Quite worrying really if he is so selective, that says to me he has some control over the situation, I found him quite scary when I first came across him, it was only for this forum I gained some understanding of he who he was and had to warn my other half to just ignore him when we came across him at the traffic lights on the stone road, I can see how he would get s few slaps if people weren't aware of him.
