Another Accident at Queensville - Wed 30th Nov 2011

Don't know any details yet but just heard Radio Stoke announced yet another accident this lunchtime at Queensville :/

A34 Staffordshire - A34 Queensville in Stafford partially blocked and heavy traffic in both directions between the Lichfield Road junction and the Windsor Road junction, because of an accident.

The way people were both driving and running across the roads earlier on today was most worrying,including an old couple about to drive the wrong way out of Kwik-Fit Island until someone sounded their horn at them.

As is becoming traditional, I arrived at the scene just after six or seven vehicles with flashing lights had scattered themselves around the vicinity. In the melée, I couldn't tell what had happened, mainly because I was trying hard not to become an additional statistic. A fire tender was there, so there had, presumably, been some vehicle damage to attaend to. There were several ambulance vehicles. It might have been that some person was being treated in an ambulance at the scene. Coppers were taking details from members of the public.

It looked as though it would be fairly clear by about now..
