Another royal baby

So Kate Middleton is pregnant with child number 3 and the news appears to have broken the internet.

There is so much hate in my news feed I've given up on facebook for the day. Everyone is moaning about the third child/benefits legislation and thinking they're funny.

Congratulations to the lovely couple!

I agree, I'm fed up with negativity as always. Congrats Wills and Kate. I bloody love the Royal Family.

I'm not a royalist in any way but do appreciate the value of the royal family and the income they generate for the nation.

Regardless of that why resent and bemoan a young family growing and developing in this world?

When i got around to thinking about it, my main focus of thought centred on why, when you've already been through two pregnancies which have seen you virtually crippled by morning-sickness, you'd put yourself through it again? Heir & a spare, job done you'd have thought?

Which then made me think about the ramifications of the potential 'conversation' about whose 'tubes' should be tied.

William, when you think about it, couldn't possibly be 'snipped' - if Kate ++ and assuming a full term another+ were run over by a yacht tomorrow, he'd have to get busy spawning more - so it would obviously have to be her.

I should probably get out more.

I am told that it is currently fashionable to have 3 children. Possibly to make up for the previous couple of generations who couldn't manage to average the 2.4 replacement rate.
