I didn't see any mention of the Co-Op Store on Wildwood closing though?

I heard an interview on the radio yesterday saying the selection criteria for the shops they were closing wasn't necessarily based on their profit and loss figures but also included factors such as proximity to competition, location, etc.

On this basis I would have expected the one on Queens Retail Park to suffer unfortunately because of nearby competition such as Matalan.

Wildwood one was still open tonight. Guess it has relatively low overheads so worthwhile keeping on.

I've just been into the Peacocks inside Wildwood Co-op . That one is safe and staying open.

The Queens Retail Park one was closed straight away for good.

A Peacocks shop assistant has told me that they are keeping most of the concession shops open .
