Looking for a 3/4 bed house in or close to Stafford with a garden and possible garage...Upto 550 PCM....Deposit and first months rent waiting....Happy to do any work that needs doing to the property for a slight reduction in rent....Needs to accept DSS and 4 cats (outdoor)...Long term.....Can provide excellent references and garantor if required.....Tenancy agreement ends 10th September

sorry to say but I'm not sure you'll be able to get that for £550 pcm, as a lot of landlords are not keen on accepting 1 cat let alone 4

Yeah from what I know of the rental market any 3/4 bedroom house is going to be a fair bit more than £550 pcm.

Sign up to daily property alerts on Rightmove, although it's difficult to find good properties in that price range in Stafford, they do exist, and if you're able to act fast you'll be in a good position to find one of them. You need to be proactive, don't wait for the properties to come to you. You need to be aggressively investigating every property and be ready to commit. Your September 10th deadline isn't ideal but it's not impossible to find somewhere before then. My mother recently moved into a very nice 3 bedroom property in that price range however it took quite a while to find it, checking Rightmove every day and visiting quite a few properties that just weren't good enough. The cats and benefits aren't ideal but aren't impossible obstacles to overcome.
