Many years ago, when the Pink Elephant was on Marston Road, we hired their bulk pulper after a bountiful harvest..
I believe that the farm at the back of Shugborough will juice quantities of fruit for you - it was referred to on here a while back. There was a sign by the Water Works..

Actually, I can see my fruit press** from here and I am not a million miles from Chateau Goldilox, if he wants to borrow it any time. I believe that the Shugborough juice squeezer chappy may pasteurise the juice - if that is true, then it may account for the keeping qualities..We've got one of these crushers and a big press-thing that sends juice all over the floor. Last year it was all packed away for the move and I took our apples to the farm at Shugborough. It wasn't cheap but the juice was brilliant quality and kept very well. It was also much clearer than when we've done it ourselves. He seemed to prefer you to take quite a large quantity of apples. I suppose it is a big faff for smaller consignments. I had two big dustbins and a bin liner full and got the impression that was probably on the disappointing side.
