I have already offered this to someone who was previously interested, so can't promise it is still available. I thought I'd still post about it now though, as if he doesn't take it I'll put it on ebay and thought I'd give you first refusal.

What can I say, this is the canine genitalia of motherboards. Its got everything you'll ever need, and lots you never will! Its an Intel Z77 motherboard so has the odd SSD caching ability, where your SSD becomes a cache for your larger standard drives therefore speeding up all common programs to SSD speeds. It even has a 32Gb SSD on the motherboard already! It has USB3 obviously, dual band WiFi, and even comes with thunderbolt onboard (Mac version of USB, can daisy chain and its 10Gbps) should you want to make a hackintosh. Its got 4 way SLi/CrossfireX, its got full DTS audio, its got HDMI and displayport outputs for intelligent switching between your graphics card and the onboard VGA so you aren't using as much power when not gaming. Hell, it may even give blow jobs but I've not read the manual yet.

I have one sat here I can no longer justify owning, its still sealed and only arrived last week. I'll let it go for an eye watering £200, but it does still retail at £350. This is not for the casual user, this is a beast of a motherboard and I fully expect it to get no interest here whatsoever! If you want the full blurb take a look at amazon:

Paypal status is sat at 'under review', which makes me think the guy is new to paypal as well as ebay. Hmm.

Paypal got confirmed, post office confirmed it is a real address despite it not having a house number and just a name. His address is listed as verified on paypal now (wasn't before), so I've sent it. I've followed everything ebay/paypal have said to do, and so have now posted it, but I still have a nagging doubt.

I was sure to photograph all serial numbers etc. first, and even took photos of the packaging it was in to prove it can't get damaged in transit short of getting driven over. Not sure what else I can do really, if it goes missing I'll just have to go and kneecap whoever answers the door at the verified address :strange:

Should have trusted my instincts, buyer reckons 'some parts are used'. I photographed the shit out of this board before sending because I was worried, made sure I got the serial numbers etc. but does anyone have any experience of how these things pan out? Read this just an hour after finding out my nan passed away last night, really not having a good day :(

is the buyer claiming the item is not as described then, and implying that he might be pursuing a refund? if so, i hate to break it to you (especially given that the last thing you need now is more bad news), but paypal are well known for siding with the buyer and refunding their money, regardless of how much evidence the seller provides :(

they've made this even easier recently, as they don't even take the money off the buyer for 14 days, which means if they put a claim in within this time, they don't even have to refund them (because no money has been taken) - they just cancel the transaction altogether..

i always tick the box that disallows 0-feedback buyers on my listings for this reason.. ebay has more scammers than a nigerian branch of western union these days :(

i might just have my tinfoil hat on, though, so don't take this as gospel! hope it works out for you..

Yup, I'd agree with db, disallow newbies from buying from you. A reasonable expectation of PayPal is that you have more history than a first timer, 100% feedback and therefore take your side.

I talked to ebay, they said as long as he hasn't opened a claim yet just to humour him. He'll try to say some things weren't right with it to get the price down, they said not to agree to any deal outside ebay that allows him to get anything as he could still claim in ebay afterwards. Great. She did say though that as I have good feedback and he has none, that as long as I can provide proof I purchased the item recently then I should be fine. So all is good so far.....

Until this morning, where I got an email saying I'd not included any documentation or the warranty card! I have sent him a photo showing where the manual was in the box, and pointed out Asus don't ship warranty cards and its all online (link provided to prove warranty). Not sure what else I can do, the guy is either a fool or a **** and I'm leaning towards the latter.

I seriously doubt I shall sell on ebay again.
