AVAILABLE: Sony Trinitron 28" TV w/stand

A mate's grandad has just upgraded his TV to one which gives him a shedload more space in his lounge...this means his Sony Trinitron 28" TV (KD-28DX40U) complete with remote, manuals and stand needs a new home. It's all the same as the pic below and bear in mind it's a big old unit so you'll need a big old corner to stick it in.

Anyone interested?

I'll be honest the old CRT type telly's are given away in most cases these days, and I can remember buying a 28" brand new for just £99 at tesco and that was a good few year ago.

State a price mate and then it's up to sis in law if she can afford it or not - she's defo in need of one but not too well off at present so cheaper the better

I was chatting to dirtybobby just before posting this and he pointed that out to me. I'm not denying it at all; however, my mate's g'pa ended up forcing £5 upon him instead of £15 for merely taking the telly away, so in return for his extremely generous yet misplaced generosity we thought it would be good to get £5 or so back for him. There may be lots of tellies similar to this for free through Freegle, but I reckon this is worth 5 or 10 squid to someone..
