Ok..ok....this is sounding a little more interesting...

Seriously though, the only use I have for a pair of doves at the moment is a nice pot roast recipe that would probably usually require a pigeon or 2. I don't know if doves would suffice, but if you're game...

Never tried pigeon pie, although one of my chickens keeps landing on my dove trap and scaring the hell out of them today. Every time I placed it back on the ground it flew back up there again - I showed it a picture of a roast chicken (yeah, I do know it can't understand before anyone comments - it was more to make my missus laugh) and blow me - it hasn't done it again all day!!
