While we dont really big up our local acts too much I'd just like to say - " A big well done and what a cracking performance from Pelo tonight at The Grapes at a gig in aid of the local Greenhall Nursery. Place was full and they nailed virtually every tune. Good to chat with Sheep and good to get home in a state capable of remembering!!

and the cry for a venue has not died. Lets hear from any of you who want this venue to join me, lets put a serious squad of wannta'do's together, support is rampant, hands in pockets cept for brief fondlin is not.
Absolutly. This town needs a decent venue for local bands to aspire to and touring bands to visit - nothing as big a Bingly Hall, just a decent sized venue with a decent bar and a dance floor. I've been hammering on about it for 15 years or more.
The town has an outstanding venue, with standing capacity of 400 , a huge bar, stage, dressing rooms, sound desk and lighting, Ample parking and 5 mins from town centre........St Leonards Sports and Social , Check it out.
Oh and while we are in Nostalga mode, Bingley Hall - Queen 1977, Boston 1979 , ACDC 1979 with Bon Scott , Thin Lizzy , Rush, Motorhead, Kiss, Whitesnake, Black Sabbath , Rainbow, Bon Jovi, Pink Floyd, Status Quo , Yes it was a shit hole, but it was our shit hole.
