There's a tiny bit in todays Express & Star on page 6. Tells you sod all really. Eldest is helping with the promotion side of it, he said the bloke from the paper spent ages taking photos etc, and all they show is 1 lousy photo.

From 2015. This is just the main hall. Another one or two rooms were in use, and I believe it's bigger this year.

I'm not entirely sure why this has been resurrected - is he due for Sainthood?

His crime? He was Catholic

TBF he was falsely implicated in a false plot that was falsely attributed to real Catholics. And he was a Catholic.

Done & dusted.

He was condemned to a death as a Traitor - that, strictly speaking, should have seen him hanged by the neck until 'almost' dead, cut down while still 'almost' living, having his internal organs removed from his body while he was still alive to see them being put upon a fire lit especially for them, and then when obviously quite as dead as one might be at this point, cut into quarters so that the body parts could be sent N, S E and W to be suitably displayed pour encourage les autres sort of thing.

Luckily for him he was well enough connected to be simply beheaded.

So he only had his head removed from his body.
