Best USB2.0 Hard Drive enclosure?

db

i've got a couple of IDE hard drives knocking about that it's a shame to waste.. i figured i'd buy a couple of USB2.0 enclosures to chuck them in, then i can just load them up with media and keep them as a kind of removeable media library.. kinda like having a shelf full of hard drives rather than a shelf full of DVDs lol..

does anyone have any recommendations for enclosures? must be IDE, and must look ok.. i've had a couple in the past that were really crappy plasticky looking things, so i'd prefer spending a bit extra on something a bit sexier.. i'm not interested in network connections or anything, just straight up USB2.0..

the best i've found so far is this Icy Box one.. anyone used this? or got any other recommendations?

ta :)

I have an Icy Box - top banana - especially if you want easy access to swap drives. It comes in USB 2.0 alone or with Firewire flavours. I also have a Revoltec - also peachy, although a screwdriver is required for swappage.

Good selection (and cheaper) at Scan

The one you're looking at is £4 cheaper
yeah, scan are the boom tick.. i always tend to order stuff from them, not least cos i get free carriage on account of being a geek.. i just used the link in my OP as it was the best pic of the Icy Box i could find at short notice..
