Best way to discover new music using current technology?

Aim: Discover new (random) music

Equipment: Android Phone, iPad – which I’d ideally like to be using the same app with the same account so it knows what I like/don't like etc.

Budget: £0 – really cheap.

Current Apps for this purpose: 0

Conclusion: Can anyone make any recommendations?

spotify, thats your best bet, or last.fm

I find Spotify rather useful, although the free version is limited to desktops & you only get 5 plays of any track. The pay versions will let you get unlimited listens & install it on your phone or iPad....

Just to update, I went with Spotify. Downloaded it on the Android and iPad, although only really used on the Android.

Seems alright to use, although not as user friendly as it could be!
