Beware opportunistic thieves in Tixall Road, Kingston Hill Area

Saturday 25th Jan 2020 I was out between 4 and 7 pm and some opportunistic thieves broke a window and I'm down a laptop. They also broke into an unoccupied house near me. They came back last night - I was okay last night but the other house wasn't. I didn't realise they had been (yesterday) until the police came. Anyway just a heads-up to people in the area to be extra sure that doors/windows are securely shut. Also, I don't think it's very likely but if anyone is offered a secondhand MacBook it might be mine (it wasn't new when I bought it) Anyway just be careful folks.

Put the MacBook into lost mode via Find My iPhone on iCloud, if they try and flog it to CEX, etc it’ll soon be noticed by staff

Incidentally our neighbour had someone fail to get into his Sprinter a year or so ago without much success (it’s all curtain twitchers up here so someone spotted them and was out with a very bright torch). It has a very sensitive alarm now though, haven’t seen anything since at the top of the hill thankfully
