Beware tommee tippee steraliser

Warning to all who use tommee tippee electric steam steraliser. There is a common fault with the steraliser where it ends cycle after just 90 seconds, a full cycle is 8 minutes. I experienced this problem myself and my daughter ended up in hospital at jus 4 weeks old seriously poorly with salmonella. I never realised the steraliser was faulty. It's a common fault and I've wrote to tommee tippee , who are well aware of the fault, yet haven't done nothing about it. My steraliser was brought from new.
Also, 90 seconds is enough time for the Steraliser to produce some steam so the bottles may appear to have been steralised, when in fact they haven't.

A quick Google would suggest that this steriliser has been exhibiting this fault for some years - bizarre.

We had one some 8 years ago which was swapped for free because of the self-same issue. You'd think they'd have sorted it by now as potentially, such a problem could lead to tragedy...

They tried to send me a new 1 I told them where to shove it. They didnt even apologise .i Went and brought myself a Gud old cold water steraliser!
I think it's disgusting , tommee tippee is a massive brand and near enough everyone I know ( previously including me) relied upon their products. I just can't understand why they won't fix the problem!
