Big Match Preparation

I heard Don Goodman on Radio 5 this evening. He was the expert for the Villa game. I nearly rang him up and asked him how he was preparing for The Match tomorrow.

I am currently indulging in a footy trivia fest with my bleary eyed colleagues. Calls allowing I may get 10 mins shut eye before the dawn!

Watch out Don, bite your legs gon2seed is gonna get ya!

Well I didn't fall asleep on't pitch. Spent the 30 mins I played chasing shadows! Fantastic experience, but you realise just how much better football league players are when you have them in the opposition! Despite the fact they were mostly retired, and between 35 and 45, playing at half pace, and passing rather than dribbling, we hardly got near them. Lost 7.1, but it was a priviledge to be on the same pitch!

You knows it
Well done Mr seed for two crucial headed goal line clearances too!

Enjoyed the game, some funny moments. Especially when there were about 22 players playing for the supporters and they still couldn't get the ball!

Where was Donaldo too?? If it hadn't have been for charity i would have asked for my money back!!

edit i know where he was he was commenting on Albions demolition of Barnsley. Never off the telly or radio that guy!

Thank you BBC. My kids were reasonably impressed with my performance.

Yes! there were more than a few absences, but I am sure you have to expect that.

It was a succesful afternoon, though not all that was planned went ahead. £4,500 raised for a good cause though, so that was the main thing!

PS I got told to throw the penalty shoot out with the feckin badger, I'd just got my eye in and would have stuffed him in the sudden death!
