This is the main application page....not much info but I believe 150 houses to be built in between Doxey and Castlefields. I think the access will be Castlefields... it has been on the cards for years. There is also planning in for the Universal Garage and its car park. Not really sure if this is all a good or bad thing. A lot of the land is brownfield and derelict and sometimes pretty newbuilds look better than barbed wire and rubbish. On the other hand, if they are going to stick a load of new lowcost housing (which they will due to the number of proposed builds) then inevitabley more scrot will be attracted to the area..

Please note, I realise there is a need for low cost housing and most of the inhabitants of such dwellings are perfectly normal however on occasion the odd srotbag obtains the right to live there and spoils it for everyone else.

Ah, right. According to the map its for the current Unicorn site. So at least the blighters aren't planning to build on more swamp.

Still, its bound to bugger up the traffic situation even more.
