Lots there today, but only a George Barnsley knife handle for me. I have two of the older wooden ones, but this is the later version with the Bakelite body and the internal mechanism - worth 50p, to me, anyway...

I often hear people talking of getting there at the sort of time - I'm more of a nineish person myself...

It can take you a while to get sorted and set up, so that is probably not a bad idea - others may have more direct experience, though...

7.30 to 7.45 is the perfect time to arrive to be in the best selling spots, not too far up the common!!

Nothing much to set up really as such, so I'll just see when I wake up and go from there. Im not too bothered about positioning, but rather dont want to miss the early browsers. I'll probably go for a happy medium and be there for 7 ish.

Sometimes, it's not too bad when you're walking round, but it can get a little chilly standing around behind the table, especially if it's windy. The southern edge, by the trees, is the least windy area, generally. It could even be useful to take a small camping stove and a kettle...

I didn't get much today, I only really went to check on @wmrcomputers, as he seemed to be totally unsupervised. He was doing quite well and, even after three hours, he managed to deal with the woman who thought she had an Ericsson printer.

I got a 21 watt strip-light and an emergency light for somebody else.

..and I handed over the job I got last week..
