Anybody ever sold gold for cash and got a good story to say about it?
Has anyone ever used the guy in the Guildhall to sell gold - at least you are dealing face-to-face rather than using the postal gold places.

While I was waiting at the Guildhall one to see if my broken gold watch was worth much, a couple were selling quite a bit of theirs to them. They reckoned that they had enquired at quite a few places around and that the Guildhall was giving the best deal.

When it came to me being served, turns out my 'Gold' watch that was bought from Samuels many years ago wasn't actually Gold at all, but coloured stainless steel
