Is anyone aware that they no longer send a reminder to you to inform you that your permit needs renewing. I only found this out when I went to my car today and found a parking ticket on it.

I was wondering if a parking gnome came round anymore. Seen a few parked without permits lately

Yes a letter was sent out apparently. They can't check the permits that much mine was 4mths out of date!

I thought they only stopped in 2015. I'm pretty sure I had one each year before that.

That's one of the things that annoy me. Pay for a permit but can't park anywhere when I get home after six because people without permits have parked.

Could people with permits not accidentally block non-permitted vehicles in?

I find the residents association meetings useful to pick bits up that you don't always get via email or the news. You could always contact them to get yourself on the mailing list and get meeting updates and invites.
