Why are there two houses boarded up?

Yes, not the very end one, but the other two.

Only one of those four houses has been lived in for the last 8 months or so. As I understand it the council owns the other three and has mothballed them in case they chose to build a bypass through Castletown or something. However, there were also rumours that they would be auctioned off... I will have to ask the chap who lives in the one (you may know him, his name is like what a mafia boss is often called)

Its not essential, we never had central heating til I was about 7. Just stick a leccy fire in the room you're gonna use!

Mind you, my radiator hasn't worked in 3 years and my window hasn't been able to close in a similar time (damn you shoes!), so the cold doesn't really bother me

Lol, nah not really. A friend damaged the window the year before, shoes just did it in fully whilst shagging some young tartlet in my room while I went to the safari park! The radiator just seized the temp valve cos I never use it, probably work if I hit it enough.

Spleeny, if you're reading this you wanna come fix my window?
