It sure as shit isn't dogs getting into my garden and filling my pathetically small 'raised bed' with... matter.

One can't complain - at least one of them is probably my own stupid cat, at least two of them are definitely my next door neighbour's, and i wouldn't be at all surprised if there were a few more contributors to the pot. TBF most are, half-heartedly, buried, others sit loud and proud for all to behold.

It better have soil enriching qualities or i shall remain in perpetual 'hump' mode.

It is not unknown for individual cats to not bury - e.g., http://www.thecatsite.com/t/238541/how-to-get-a-cat-to-cover-their-poop - a quick Google will find many more, it seems, at first glance, to stem from cat litter usage. The one that does it on my lawn is either a cat or some other animal wearing the skin of a cat.

We had a cat who used to terrorise the cat next door sit outside the catflap and wait....he also use to leave little parcels of poo on the patio much to our embarrassment and the upset of our neighbour, 'twas then I suggested the use of a water pistol

I have 3 cats. Each 1 is different. They don't always bury their poo.
@Dreamies Please correct me if I have read your posts wrong, you take your cat for a walk, on a lead. It craps and buries it??? Why don't you scoop it up in a bag and take it home? Cat shite spreads diseases, I am not putting the link up again.
I have never read a topic on this Forum before that has made me want to scream like this 1!

We scoop, we have to, our dog treats cat shit as a gourmet meal.

I have 2 piles of cat poo left every day on top of the lawn in the exactly the same place either late at night or early morning. Can't catch the little sod doing it or I'd aim some water at it. Also got large patches of killed off lawn nearby, so assuming that must be from them urinating. Paid a fortune in the past for cat repellant pellets, only for them to go elsewhere in the garden . Tried orange peel, empty plastic bottles and several other things in the past and so far nothing has deterred them .

Didn't have that problem for the 17 yrs we had our dog.....one did come and tease her through the patio windows and they would play chase around the garden... but never had any deposits while she was around. Unfortunately can't convince hubby to get another dog :( (So I'm now using all the old poo bags to pick the bloody cat shit up! )

Someone mentioned curry powder earlier.... might try sprinkling that tonight and see if it has any effect......
