One of the beasts brought in a pigeon this morning.....left it on the inside back door mat, decapitated - guts hanging out - with wings pulled of & feathers out.

Why? Grrrr.

2) If you are a cat & have just killed another living animal, at least have the decency to eat it & don't leave it strewn about the house.

3) If you are a cat & have just eaten another (once living) creature......please please please do not throw up the half digested contents of your stomach all over my carpet.

I've been having something of a torrid time with my stupid cat.

Recently, by which i mean by now about 4-5 weeks ago, the fecker must've ( must'of for @littleme ) gotten into some sort of 'scrape' - visible scratch on nose, from the looks of it also took a pretty bad 'dig' into the corner of the eye, which took a loooong time to heal.

Stupid animal was obviously a bit cut up by this incident, physically obviously, but he seems to have changed in himself as well.

Upshot is that he is a bit 'off' his food - he's always been a bit pernicketty, but his pernickettiness seems to have (or should that be 'of' @littleme ?) escalated - i've (or should that be 'i of' - 'i of' - i'f - can you see it now @littleme !) started buying all sorts of things that the fecker might eat but he's just turning it all down. He starts all enthusiastic but whatever i put in front of him he seems to tire of.

Now i'm beginning to wonder whether he's off his food because of some sort of infection he's picked up from the 'scrape', or whether he is just maintaining, or indeed intensifying, his core strategy of being a complete 'dick' He is staying in quite a bit more than he did before, but other than that he isn't obviously any more of an inconvenience.

Are cats fussy eaters on the whole, or is it an indication of something?

In my experience that are some fussy eaters but if his eating habits have changed since the injury I would take him to the vet to be on the safe side

4am today, bless him. He woke the dog as i had put 2 doors between us and him. Dog let me know cat wanted me. You win this time cat.

Personally I would of spent less time thinking up ways to have a dig at me, & would of taken my (possibly) sick cat to the vets for a check-up.
