I have no idea where the newbies got the ridiculous notion that Stafford Forum and its users are on a "witch hunt".
Possibly from the following - posted as recently as the 24th of this month?

It's not normally necessary to look beyond the usual suspects...

Admin edit: Moved post to correct thread.
Cheers, Ad - I just gave up in disgust when I saw what I'd done there and didn't want to post it twice - I knew I could rely on you.....

“kindly go back under the working class stone you crawled out from”
“none of the usuual(sic) stafford crowd”
“for the sake of everyone with any culture, taste and class, go back to the Radford Bank”
“this kind of establishment is not for your sort of people”
I thought you did a much better job of it yourselves, vis;

At the end of the day I take all complaints personally and wish to be the best we can be everytime for every diner. I am more than happy to speak to any guest at the table and welcome feedback ( good or bad) and will act upon every one of them. We are new to Stafford and we are learning all the time.

Untimatly your comments have helped me, I can see on the whole there seems to be confusion with how we do things here at the chambers. If you do decide to come back in, ask for me, and I hope you see a change.
I don't eat out that much but i'll make Chambers my next port of call - bon chance. :)

According to the website, the Assistant Manager was 'poached a month before we opened' - I don't see her on the menu, but I do hope that she has been stored at a suitable temperature since then..

Just read back the posts on here and I think there's been a bit of trolling involved here - a couple of rubbish reviews way back in the thread posted by newbies who haven't posted much else. Perhaps regular forumites are getting the flack for a few newbies giving suspect reviews?

Possibly, if only the n00bs who just signed up had read the whole thread maybe they'd not have portrayed(?) themselves as such up themselves *****? As it was they attacked the whole of Stafford, which makes you wonder what wonderful Mecca they come from. I guess Chambers got the wrong location, and should have opened where these people live?

The forum has regularily lamented the lack of a decent local eaterie, when the good ones do close we are not happy, but apparently we can't comprehend really good food. Doesn't matter the flak we regularily give the chain pubs, doesn't matter how much hatred is poured on the chinese buffet for example (but hey, some like it so all good), we're all inbreds that can't appreciate a good meal. Ah well, at least I'm happy in my ignorance. Anyone found a replacement for Karma yet? The lights were on the sign last night, but was driving past and didn't look open :(

Anyway, I'll still come in, but please make your waiting staff pay a bit more attention. And make sure the bit about waving down staff is removed from your menu as they seem pretty ****** off when you do it!

Went for Lunch here today. Had Roast Beef. Very tasty…Service was also spot on too. It's nice to have another pub in town where the food is freshly cooked.

This reminds me of a time when I frequented restaurants on the continent

I was always kept waiting for coffee and eventually realised it was to stop the establishment looking empty, given that people never like going into an empty restaurant as it can say wimcrapbab
