Changes at the Guildhall.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Back to what the thread is supposed to be about.

What will they do with The Guildhall because quite honestly I rarely go in there now since they shut Topshop.
Hate Topshit and shops like it. Superficial clothes for superficial people I've always thought.

wanna see my snake?
I haven't spent a penny in the Guildhall since HMV went.

Poundland, they are the only people that get any of my money, and that is primarily because of how close to work it is and that it usually seels the sort of stuff I suddenly need. And crisps.

Poundland saw 4 of my pounds today (no more tears shampoo, 2 packs of seeds and dashboard wipes) none of this was for me.

wow I'm exhausted reading this post...pleased to see the world is still spinning in the right direction. Sadly same couldn't be said for the Guildhall though, it looked deserted the other day when I walked through, apart from Clarks, Poundland and a card shop are the only shops that I can recollect seeing, or should I be going to Spec savers.

Yep you had better get those eyes sorted :)

There's

River island
Body Shop,
Kismet Rose Boutique,
Claires,
card factory
Clarks
Vision express
The Art Gallery
Carbon
Card Stop
Travel Bags
The fragrance Shop
Poundland
Supercuts
I motion Gym
Ugly mug cafe,
Rig Out
Mango Bean
Peccadillos

It has definitely been a busy week for the shops in the Guildhall, I guess it can depend how you time it.

Spouting nonsense since the day I learned to talk
The Guildhall needed to be anchored with a department store when it was first built. Has it ever been fully occupied? Will it ever again? It looks very dated and very unloved now. I do hope the owners actually spend a decent amount of money revamping it but I fear not.
