Childcare in Stafford

I am looking to set up a childcare setting in Stafford and am wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what they want/need - for example the ideal location for you or if you feel a drop in creche would be viable in stafford town centre?

Id appreciate all comments and suggestions.

Many Thanks

A Yates

I reckon the best way to conduct market research would be an online questionnaire.

You can build one on the following site:

IMO the town is pretty well covered, particularly the Town Centre. Consider volume of traffic, parking, your potential customers location, ect.

I haven't needed any for 6 years, so this all needs to be taken with a pinch of salt! and I used to cycle with my Sprog, 5 miles across town, because myself and the Venerable Mrs Seed, were so impressed with the provider, after visiting a few!

I don't know what the situation is like in Wildwood now but....

When I was looking for a childminder a few years ago in Wildwood area for a Barnfield School drop off/pick up,I wasn't able to get one at the time. (I even had to turn down a good job offer because there were plenty for Leasowes & St Annes but they couldn't do Barnfields)

The Children's Centre does a shoppers creche, I think you'd be in trouble trying to compete with them to be honest. How about an 'alternative' provision, I know there's a Montessori setting already, but perhaps you need to provide something different to stand out from the others. (Or, speaking generally, you could just be cheap AND good, not one or the other ;)
