Christmas Eve....

so far ive managed to plan a meal out with an old school friend on the 23rd, book myself in for an aromatherapy massage on the 24th.....

now all i have to decide is where im going to see the most old friends on christmas eve.

traditionally, ive always driven to the wood and the lynton to see mates at that end of town before pootling back to the folks to drop the car off and wandering round to the railway to partake of the christmas spirits. (mostly large house gins! )

so the question i suppose is....where will you be?

I've got my sister and her boyfriend coming from Manchester and London, and my BF from Manc all coming to mine to get (very) quietly merry. . . long gone are the days of hitting the town, tbh I prefer the cosy at home way.

Xmas eve: in Sheffield at the mother-in-laws (oh well, least I can get hammered for free)

NYE: no idea where i'll be.... its always such an expensive anti-climax... why would I want to pay £20 to get into a sh*t bar that you couldn't pay me to get into normally...

ill be in scotland for xmas eve...i usually go for a few afternoon scoops and enjoy the festive buzz before shooting off home before the gimps come out....but scotland with the in-laws will be cool

We will be staying in on Christmas Eve I'm afraid..got 2 kids to get to bed at a reasonable hour so we can sort out the pressies. New years eve we will be at home too - babysitters are hard to find!
