That’s given me an idea. I’ll buy some rough clobber in a charity shop and lie down in doorways near cash points. I could make a few quid !

Yes, we do.
We give a cash tip to the postman and window cleaner.
A gift of proessco and chocolates (all done up with cellophane and a bow to look gorgeous) for my hairdresser and the girl who cuts husbands hair. Huge box of chocolates for the rest of the staff.

I once saw lots of school kids getting a nice bit of spending money , by going around the bins on their way into school and collecting tips left on top of bins.
I give my beautician a present each year (usually wine or similar) as she does her best to make me look boooooootiful every 3 weeks throughout the year.
The only tip I'd give my postman is to get some reading glasses, he always seems to be pushing other peoples post through my door (And I haven't seen the documents posted out to me that must have landed through someone elses door yet)
